LUTZ, FL (February 2018) Complete I.T. has added Eagle Eye Networks cloud video surveillance to the camera systems it designs, installs, and supports, starting with an Eagle Eye demonstration system.
Traditional camera systems keep video on a recorder in the building. If that recorder fails or is stolen, the footage goes with it. Eagle Eye stores and manages video in the cloud, so businesses, communities, and government agencies can view cameras, pull clips, and share footage from a browser or phone. Software updates happen in the background, and there is no on-site server to maintain.
Team training
The Complete I.T. team has since earned Eagle Eye certifications in three areas:
- Advanced: system design, installation, and setup
- VMS: the video management software client staff use every day
- LPR: license plate recognition cameras and searches
That training allows the company to design each system around the property, set it up correctly the first time, and support it afterward.
Where it fits
Eagle Eye works well for offices, retail, warehouses, and properties with entry points that need plate capture. It also pairs with Complete I.T.’s access control work, so doors and cameras can be reviewed together.
Editor’s note: Eagle Eye Networks merged with Brivo and is now Brivo Video. Complete I.T. continues to install and support it under the new name.
